REGISTRATION ROLLOVERS & REFUNDS
Rollovers
New in 2012! We will allow rollovers to the 2013 race up to 90 days before the race at no charge. After March 17, 2012, there will be a $75 fee to roll over your registration to 2013. Please contact Kristen to roll over your registration.
Refunds
There are NO refunds except for active duty military.
There are absolutely NO bib transfers.
REGISTRATION INSURANCE
As a value-added service to our athletes, The DC Triathlon proudly participates in an innovative Registration Insurance plan through 365Competitors, LLC. This policy entitles all race participants to a reimbursement of their registration and online processing fee should they become ill or injured and are unable to start the race. REGISTRATION TYPES
International Distance - Age Group
Choose this type to compete solo in your age group. There are no time qualifications.
International Distance - Age Group Elite
Choose this type to compete at an elite level only. Age Group Elite competitors are not eligible for Age Group awards nor can they compete in any of the races-within-a-race. Men qualify with an International time of 2:15 or less. Women qualify with an International time of 2:30 or less.
International Distance - NEW! Relay Option
Choose this type to compete as a team of two or three athletes, male, female or co-ed, with each athlete doing one leg of the race (swim, bike or run).
Sprint Distance - Age Group
Choose this type to compete solo in your age group. There are no time qualifications.
Sprint Distance - Age Group Elite
Choose this type to compete at an elite level only. Age Group Elite competitors are not eligible for Age Group awards nor can they compete in any of the races-within-a-race. Men qualify with an International time of 2:15 or less. Women qualify with an International time of 2:30 or less.
If you want to change from Sprint to International you must notify kristen@wseminc.com by May 31, 2012. You will be charged the difference in price.
REGISTRATION POLICIES
All athletes must agree to the following policies when registering:
- All registrations are final.
- NO REFUNDS OR BIB TRANSFERS at anytime, except for active duty military.
- You must be at least 18 years old on race day, June 17th, 2012.
- Bikes must be racked on Saturday, June 16th from 1 PM — 7 PM.
- No bikes may be brought into the transition area on race day.
- No packet pickup on race day.
If you want to change from Sprint to International you must notify Kristen by May 31, 2012. You will be charged the difference in price.
